We would like to express our deepest gratitude to Attitash Builders, and especially to Liu Vaine, who has been more like a friend than a builder representative and has always been there to help us navigate the unexpected things that come with being first-time homeowners. Last month, we experienced a false fire alarm on two separate occasions. We reached out to Liu to see if he could help us identify what was triggering the alarm and determine how to resolve the issue. Without hesitation, Liu immediately stepped in, coordinated with the contractors, and arranged for someone to come to our home and inspect the problem. They ultimately identified the faulty alarm and replaced it at no cost to us. What makes this experience even more meaningful is that our home was already outside the standard one-year builder’s warranty. Nevertheless, Attitash Builders did not hesitate to help. Liu took ownership of the issue, made sure it was resolved quickly, and continued to follow up with us to make sure everything was working properly. Liu also goes the extra mile by checking in with us from time to time to see how things are going in our home. That level of care and follow-through really stands out. Our experience has shown us that Attitash Builders genuinely cares about its homeowners and values long-term relationships rather than simply viewing the home purchase as a transaction. We are incredibly grateful for Liu’s support and responsiveness and would highly recommend Attitash Builders to anyone looking for a builder that truly stands behind its homeowners. Our home is spectacular! It was above and beyond all we expected. The entire staff was supportive, experts in their fields, efficient and hardworking. It's so difficult to know if you are making the right choice when building a custom home. We did and are so grateful. We are looking forward to making many memories and enjoying our beautiful space!I purchased a new built home from Avatar Constructions and it is beautifully and well-built internally and externally. I had a pleasant experience working with Nazar on the minor issues that usually come up with a new construction house. I specifically want to mention Liu from his team who has been highly responsive to our questions and concerns, including those related to the deck, window alignment, and HVAC/ventilation. He maintains detailed records for each issue and consistently follows through until everything is fully resolved. He is professional, easy to-talk-to, and ensures that matters are handled efficiently and to completion.I’ve known the operations manager for years and have seen firsthand the incredible custom homes he and his team create—I’ve toured many of them, and they’re truly impressive. Knowing we have them on our side for our upcoming custom design and build makes the whole process even more exciting. Thank you for all the help over the years!Working with the Attitash team on our commercial storefront renovation was a pleasure. From initial contact with Joe to the final walkthrough with developer Nazar, the process was smooth and very hands-on. The team was patient with our change orders mid-project, listening carefully and addressing our concerns effectively. Overall, it was a top-notch experience. Remarkably, the initial quote remained unchanged, even though most commercial projects tend to cost 20-30% more than planned. Attitash played a significant role in keeping the project within budget, ensuring we avoided unnecessary expenses on fixtures that would inflate costs without reason. Excellent work, guys!I had a great experience with Attitash Builders and working directly with Nazar. He’s very hands-on and easy to talk to, which made the whole process feel a lot more straightforward and less stressful than I expected. You can tell he genuinely cares about the quality of the work and the overall outcome, not just getting the job done and moving on. What stood out to me was how organized and detail-oriented everything was. Their design-build approach keeps everything streamlined from planning to execution, and it really shows in how smooth the project flows. Nothing felt rushed or overlooked, and the craftsmanship and finishes were clearly done with care and precision. Nazar is professional, transparent, and actually listens to what you want. He gives honest input, communicates well throughout the process, and follows through on what he says — which is rare in this space. You can tell he takes pride in his work and wants the final result to match your vision, not just a standard template. Overall, I’d definitely recommend Attitash Builders if you’re looking for a company that’s reliable, communicative, and focused on high-quality custom work without the usual contractor headaches. We chose our home at 21 Fayette Street mainly because of the excellent location, and it has truly been a great decision for our family. I first became familiar with Attitash Home Builders in April 2025, when the house was still under construction. My agent, Anthony, brought me to see the property, and Mr. Nazar personally walked me through the structure, layout, and construction process. He explained everything clearly, which helped me understand the quality of the materials and workmanship. The house was completed and delivered in late 2025. After moving in, we experienced a few minor issues, which is normal for a new home. However, whenever something came up, Nazar was always responsive and arranged his team to help us promptly. One example that stood out was during the colder season. There was an advanced system in the house that kept making noise, and we were concerned that something might be wrong. Since we were not familiar with the equipment, we were afraid to touch it. After I mentioned this together with the heating issue, Nazar responded quickly and arranged for a technician to come the next day. The technician checked everything and adjusted the system properly, which gave us great peace of mind. This really showed how much they care about their customers and how they try to make things easy and worry-free for homeowners. I would also like to especially thank Dimitri. He was extremely helpful not only with paperwork and closing documents, but also with construction-related questions. He was always patient, friendly, and quick to respond, which made the entire process much smoother. My agent Anthony was also professional and reliable. My wife and I are very happy living in this home. When she is happy, our whole family is happy. We truly enjoy our life here. If you are considering a home in this area, I would definitely recommend Avatar Design & Construction. Overall, it has been a very positive experience, and I appreciate their professionalism and dedication. Highly recommended！Nazar and his team are great. They listen to the client and accommodate as much as possible. They are very resourceful as well, and get the job done with highest quality in reasonable time. My wife and I are very happy with the house that they built for us.+4Let me start off with saying that you are in great hands with Attitash Home Builders! We were looking for a new construction home and had something very special in mind. We looked at many properties but weren't impressed, same old boring designs - inside and out, till we walked into this Attitash Home Builders creation! We fell in love with it from the moment we saw the front elevation and our admiration for the love and passion with the builder had built the home just grew as we walked around the home. We knew this was the home 🏡 that we had looking for and waiting for a long time. Attitash team's attention to every major and minor detail shone through - the layout, the woodwork, the lighting fixtures all very unique with classy touches! Nazar walked us through the home before we closed on it. The excitement in his voice describing every detail as a proud artist would describe his precious creation was something to behold. After we moved in, there were few minor irritants that you'd expect with any new construction home that Nazar and team jumped on and addressed promptly! I'd highly recommend Attitash Home Builders to anyone looking to get a custom home built or looking to buy a custom built home! After spending the last year building my dream home with Avatar Construction, I can confidently say they were the right choice for my custom build. Let me break down my experience for anyone considering a new home build: THE TIMELINE: One of my non-negotiables was completing the build within 12 months, which many builders said wasn't realistic. Avatar not only committed to this timeline but delivered, skillfully managing the complex scheduling of trades and materials even during challenging supply chain times. THE TEAM: Both Jims (yes, there are two - the project manager and site supervisor) were instrumental in the success of this project. The project manager Jim was particularly adept at finding creative solutions when we hit inevitable budget challenges, while site supervisor Jim kept the day-to-day operations moving. Being a custom build, I was extensively involved and on-site frequently - sometimes more than the site supervisor - and they welcomed my engagement rather than seeing it as an intrusion. SUBCONTRACTORS: Here's where things get interesting - some of Avatar's subs were absolutely phenomenal, true craftsmen who took pride in their work. Others required more oversight and guidance to meet expectations. This variability is probably my main constructive feedback to Avatar - maintaining consistent subcontractor quality could be improved. However, when any issues arose, Avatar was quick to address them. BUDGET & CHANGES: Let's be real - building a custom home means change orders. While nobody loves paying markup on changes (which was clearly outlined in the contract), the project manager worked tirelessly with me to balance these costs. Sometimes we found savings in other areas to offset increases, showing their commitment to working within my overall budget constraints where possible. POST-COMPLETION SERVICE: This is where Avatar truly shines. Months after moving in, they're still working with me to perfect minor paint details and finishing touches. This level of follow-through is rare in construction and speaks volumes about their commitment to customer satisfaction. TIPS FOR FUTURE BUILDERS: - Be prepared to be involved; custom builds require engagement - Understand your contract thoroughly, especially regarding change orders - Budget for unexpected costs - they're inevitable in custom construction - Document everything, but maintain a collaborative rather than adversarial relationship - Be present on-site as much as possible Would I recommend Avatar? Absolutely. Are they perfect? No, but they're transparent about their processes, committed to their timelines, and genuinely care about delivering your vision. For anyone planning to build a custom home, remember: you want a builder who will work WITH you, not just FOR you - and that's exactly what Avatar provides. The end result is everything I dreamed of, and while the journey had its challenges (as any custom build does), Avatar's professionalism and dedication to customer satisfaction made them the ideal partner for this massive undertaking. They turned my dream home from plans on paper to a beautiful reality, and for that, I'm incredibly grateful.+22 years after my shop was built I had an issue with my garage door. I called and my issue was addressed immediately. They immediately came by and made the door secure, ordered parts and the door was fixed within a few days. Very impressed with the professionalism and standing behind their workmanship. Would highly recommended their servicesAVATAR handled very well special requirements, which came from the fact that my house was built in a historic district of the town near wetlands. Thanks to the skills and total dedication of AVATARs project manager the construction was done on time and within initial estimates. We had a new home designed and built by Attitash in 2022-2023. The project took about a year (as expected), and everything turned out great. Over the year, each stage of the work was done on schedule overall and with no surprises. The Attitash management team was responsive and good communicators. There's always snags in any project like this, and the Attitash team did a great job of dealing with any unexpected issues in a fair and timely manner.Five stars isn’t a high enough score to describe our experience working with Josh and Jim. When we decided to buy land in 2021, we met with a few architects and builders who left us feeling uneasy/confused and unsure of what to do. We had seen and admired several Attitash Builders homes, and from the first day we met, we were certain they were the right choice. They offered great consultation and building approach with us and recommended an architect who very quickly turned our wish list into a design we were very happy with. Then we created a contract that was detailed and fair, and took care of every detail for the building of our home. Jim and Brian are such skilled craftsman, they took our vision and executed it with the highest level of care and attention to detail. Brian worked with all of his subcontractors to build our dream home, despite a few hiccups along the way, like unexpected levels of stone ledge that took more time and money than anyone expected, as well as mid-pandemic supply chain issues and sub staffing challenges. When there were questions on site Jim or Brian was always there to explain what the issue was and what the options were. It’s no joke that building a home takes about a million decisions! Other staff was always available to answer questions or offer any advice to better stream the design or execution. Nazar made it easy to set up and manage the financial side of the project, which was no small task. From the start, and even now after we’ve moved in, he made us truly feel like a friend, and we are profoundly grateful. We recommend these guys as our trusted experts for fine home building. They’ll ensure things are done to the highest standard, and you’ll move into a home that exceeds your expectations. Thanks for building a great home for our family.I hired Attitash builders for the design of a mountain retreat. Their team delivered on time. Thank you for under promising and over delivering!Communication was seamless throughout the entire process. They were always responsive, addressing any questions or concerns promptly. Their transparency and honesty regarding costs, timelines, and materials were refreshing and greatly appreciated. I felt involved and informed every step of the way.I’m in IT field and I am new to building so it was very difficult to trust someone for guidance when I didn’t know much to begin with. What I found was a great option to explore was the non commitment agreement program that Attitash Builders had to offer. This allowed me to underhand the process and cost much better. While I must saying building a home is not only a big commitment and difficult, I enjoyed the process and in the end it was worth it!From start to finish, I was impressed with Attitash. They saw my vision for a custom home and brought it to life. I cannot speak more highly about the quality of their work. Could not be more thrilled with my new home! For years I had an image in my head of my home. Somewhere I could come home to and escape the pressures of life. I spoke to many architects who attempted to recreate my vision, and none were able to make it come to life exactly the way I pictured it. That is until I found Attitash Builders. The designers and Architects were able to translate every small detail I imagined into a design that exceeded my expectations. Creating the perfect design is only the first step however, and as blown away as I was, Attitash continued to impress me as my dream came to life. Each staff member I spoke with took their time to explain everything I should expect, and continued to explain each step as it was happening. The professionalism I experienced throughout the process is unmatched. While our project has come to an end, I look forward to working with Attitash on any future construction projects, and I will certainly be recommending them to friends and family. I am so thankful to have come across this amazing company.Avatar did a great job on our home remodel/addition. They kept to our contract and schedule and we are very happy with the result. We would recommend them to anyone looking to do a large home renovation. Not only has Attitash done work at my home but I have recommended them to friends and family. They are down to earth, detail oriented and budget conscious. I highly recommend giving them a call for projects big and small. My partner and I found Attitash Builder's management to be very professional. They deliver what they commit to. They do not do any false promises which is the rarest thing nowadays in this field. I was fully satisfied with their service. I would love to use them again for my next project. My wife and I owned 12000sf of land on which I wanted to build my house. I gave that contract to Attitash Builders, Inc and they did a fantastic job in feasibility and design or the building. They provided us a team of experts and the consulting process was very much helpful. They utilized every inch of our land. That delivered us the best output we could ever imagine. I am very satisfied with their services.I had a wonderful, positive experience with this company, the project was done early, the value, quality of work is superb. Great people, good work ethic. I highly recommend them. If there was 6 stars- I would give it to them ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I have a four unit which needed some remodeling and structural work , these guys made the process a breeze. They did the work on time , on budget and were very responsive when I had concerns in regards to certain changes in the project that I wanted to implement. I would definitely work with them againAttitash Builders Inc. completed a number of projects at my home in Arlington, MA: finishing our basement, adding an addition, remodeling our kithcen, living rooms, bathrooms. The workmanship on everything was outstanding and we could not be happier with the results. What really was important for us that Attitash Builders did the careful planning which went into the project before they began which ensured that everything went smoothly and according to schedule. I highly recommend them for any remodeling, making addition of your house or bulding new homes you may be contemplating and other professional construction needs for your house.Load more
